Fermenting, pickling, charcoal grilling, salting, and hot and cold smoking with David's innovative and personal touch constitute the backbone of our cooking. David draws inspiration from Finnish nature, the surrounding city of Helsinki, and his travels around the world, combined with his knowledge and experience gained from working at Michelin's one-, two- and three-star restaurants.
The food is local, organic, and super fresh, sourced from Finnish and Scandinavian small producers with the main focus on Finnish game, vegetables, and sustainable seafood. In summer, a large proportion of our vegetables and herbs come from our farm in Helsinki.

In 2022, the world's most prestigious restaurant guide, the Michelin Guide, awarded Natura The Michelin Green Star, highlighting restaurants at the forefront of the industry regarding their sustainable practices.
In 2021 and 2022, Natura was chosen among a few top restaurants in the Nordics by 360° Eat Guide. In its publication, the restaurants are ranked by sustainability and gastronomy.
